The purpose of this website is to allow personal (and small business) legal consumers to assess and compare legal services simply and easily. Consumers are used to be able to make informed buying decisions quickly and easily – legal services should be no different. We empower our users to find the right legal services for them – whether it is based on price, cultural fit or geography.

Process

Users should follow this process as a guide to getting the legal services they need:

1. Search for legal services using multiple criteria

2. Find the legal product that you require and compare against similar products

3. Review details about the product (e.g. what is included, not included, timelines, etc)

4. If acceptable, then click the ‘Contact Provider’ button

5. Fill in your details and send

6. The legal services provider will organise a call with you to start your legal matter

Legal

This website is run by My Legal Marketplace Ltd, a company registered in the UK with company number 14049024 (the “Company”). The Company provides users with the ability to search for and compare legal services (“Legal Products”) provided by third parties (“Third Party Legal Service Providers”). The Company is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (“SRA”) and does not offer legal services to the public or to businesses.

Third Party Legal Service Providers are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and are entitled through that regulator to provide legal services to businesses and consumers. Any selection of Legal Products by a website user will result in a commercial relationship between the Third Party Legal Service Provider and the website user only. Any selection of Legal Products by website user is subject to (a) acceptance by the Third Party Legal Services Provider and (b) successful fulfilment of the Third Party Legal Service Provider’s due diligence and/or Know Your Client process.

The Company lists Legal Products that have been disclosed as a result of the SRA’s Transparency Rules. We continue to maintain those Legal Products on behalf of Third Party Legal Service Providers but where in the event there is a discrepancy between the Company’s website and the Third Party Legal Service Provider’s website, the latter should take precedence.
